Accessibility Center

Accessibility is the product, not a setting we added at the end. Every screen is built for keyboard, screen reader and voice use, and no information is communicated by colour alone.

Accessibility modes

Blind mode: Voice-first flow, spoken confirmations, screen-reader-optimised order, no visual-only cues.
Low vision mode: Extra-large type, high contrast, bold text, generous spacing and large controls.
Deaf / hard of hearing mode: Live captions front and centre, sound alerts shown visually, vibration cues.
Deafblind mode: Haptic patterns, simplified controls and an integration path for refreshable Braille displays.
General accessibility mode: A balanced default you can customise setting by setting.

Mode presets are in active development. Today the interface already ships high contrast, large targets, reduced-motion support and full keyboard operation.

Accessibility statement

Better My Life targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its working standard. We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers, high contrast and reduced motion. We have not completed an independent third-party audit, and we will not claim certifications we do not hold.

Safety and limitations

AI vision, OCR, sound detection and navigation assistance can all make mistakes. Better My Life never tells you a road, path or object is safe, and it is not a replacement for a cane, a guide dog, orientation and mobility training, or your own judgement.
